These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website www.getz-interiors.co.uk by accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Using this website indicates that you accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us or order from us. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this website.
Introduction & Conditions
In these conditions “the company” means Getz Ltd, Interiors or any subsidiary thereof.
You will be able to access most areas of this Website without registering your details with us.
We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating this posting. You should check this Website from time to time to review the then current terms and conditions, because they are binding on you. Certain provisions of these terms and conditions may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices or terms located on particular pages of this Website. If you do not wish to accept any new terms and conditions after we have given notice, you should not continue to use this Website.
- Ordering
1.1) You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement.
1.2) Our acceptance of an order takes place when we despatch the order. We may send you a despatch confirmation by email which is an update of shipping showing a tracking number. When we despatch the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.
1.3) We may refuse to accept an order: (i) where goods are not available;(ii) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;(iii) if there has been a pricing, product description or product image error;(iv) if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions;(v) if we are unable to fulfil your order for any other reason beyond our control.
1.4) Despatching of items. Any times quoted for despatch, repair or replacement, are to be treated, as estimates only and time shall not be of essence of contract. If time is subsequently made of the essence by the purchaser then the company’s liability shall be limited to the value of the goods and the company shall not be liable to the purchaser in respect of any indirect or consequential loss that may arise.
1.5) Our prices are being constantly reviewed and updated ensuring that we always remain competitive. We may alter any prices on this Website at any time, without notice.
1.6) Special order items are bespoke items made to measure, all items which are marked 4-6 weeks or longer are automatically classed as special order (bespoke) items.
- Delivery
2.1) Delivery is typically received around 4-7 working days for in-stock products. We do hold stock of our popular & fast moving products, which we aim to dispatch sooner. Please note some brands do have an extended lead time of 2-3 weeks and some Made To Order (Special Order) or Bespoke products range from 4-8 weeks depending on the product. This will be detailed on the product page and can sometimes be improved, all items in the 4-8 week bracket are classed as special order items. Please note some larger items of over 1m in size can sometimes take 6-8 weeks and we rely on sea fright for these items so sometimes extended waits occur due to world conditions.
2.2) We are unable to leave any order with a neighbour, or in any other location within your property or grounds, All orders require a signature.
2.3) Please note: any requests for DPD/EVRI/DX to leave deliveries in a safe place are completely at the customers own risk. We cannot refund or replace any items that are delivered to a safe place, as this is not the recommend delivery option.
2.4) It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect all goods prior to any installation work, and report any damages/breakages to us within 2 days of receiving goods. We recommend all lighting is installed by a professional electrician - failure to do so will void any warranty with the manufacturer. As we do not offer an installation service, we cannot give technical advice on installing any lighting, nor can we be held responsible for any problems encountered with the installation process. We cannot accept returns for any cosmetic imperfections reported after the item has been installed, these will not be considered for return or exchange.
2.5) Please note: imperfections to undersides and insides of items are not considered faults - they are just a natural by-product incidental or secondary to how the items are manufactured. They are not expected to be glazed/finished or look the same as the outside and are therefore not to be considered as imperfections. Clear glass and crystal items may be subject to small air bubbles or minor imperfections due to the manufacturing process - these are not considered faults. Small hairline scratches, not visible when viewed at a distance of 1 metre, are classed as industry standard and not considered faulty/damaged. Colours of products for example white/ silver /gold are as specified and slight colour variations to the colour which are believed are not acceptable grounds to return items.
2.6) Re-deliveries, If our couriers are unable to find the property on the first attempted delivery they will attempt a second delivery where possible, if following the second attempt your address is still unable to be located the courier will return the item to us. Any additional deliveries after this point will require an additional delivery charges as incurred to us by the couriers. Please understand that couriers do not work for Getz Interiors so we do not have contact with their drivers or visibility of their delivery routes. This information can all be tracked by yourself directly using the tracking ID providing following the shipping notice.
2.7) Please kindly note all Delivery Charges are not refundable.
2.8) When shipping special order items from outside of the UK into the UK, the tracking number provided will state awaiting parcel, this is typically because the item is either in transit by sea or air and or clearing customs. Once the item is cleared and passed to the relevant courier the tracking is updated with an exact date for delivery. Please note delivery listed on the product page is typical but can sometimes be shorter or longer which is outside of our control.
- Cancellation and Returns Policy
If you wish to cancel your order:
3.1) you can notify us by email to info@getz-interiors.co.uk before we have despatched the goods to you unless the product in question is a “special order”, we reserve the right to make a 30% handling charge; or
3.2) where goods have already been despatched to you unless the product in question is a “special order”, we reserve the right to make a 30% handling charge, by returning goods to us in accordance with clause 3.3 below.
3.3) In regards to returned items, we will comply with our terms and conditions as detailed in this document and any obligations under the UK Distance Selling Regulations. You can return goods you have ordered from us at any time within 7 (seven) days of receipt for a full refund or exchange by prior agreement subject to a 30% combined re-stocking and handling charge. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by the customer.
3.4) Upon receipt of the goods we will, within a reasonable time, give you a full refund of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required.
3.5)All goods returned must be in original packaging and must be accompanied by proof of purchase and returned in the same condition as it was originally supplied, complete with all instructions and sundries.
3.6) The rights to return the goods to us as referred to in clause 3.3 will not apply in the following circumstances: in the event that the product has been used or otherwise altered from the state in which it was originally delivered. The provisions of clause 3.4 do not affect your statutory rights.
3.7) Loss or damage in transit. In the event of damage or short delivery the company will not be liable unless the purchaser shall have notified the company in writing within two working days of delivery. Getz Interiors shall not be liable for any claim for non-delivery unless the claim is notified in writing to them within 14 days from invoice date.
3.8) For the avoidance of doubt: Getz Interiors will not replace goods claimed to be defective until it is confirmed the fault is not the result of improper use or installation.
3.9) All products must not have been wired or fitted or installed in any way.
3.10) All products must be returned complete with all parts, fixings, glass, hook plates, accessories etc.
3.11) All product boxes must not be damaged, ripped or written on and must only be sealed with clear tape.
3.12) All electrical items must be fitted by a competed electrician with the relevant certifications and subscriptions to relevant bodies to enable sign off. This reduces risks when installing electrical items. Also with any faulty lights everyone can be assured the light was fitted in accordance with UK rules and regulations.
3.13) Any electrical items not fitted by a certified electrician cannot be returned /refunded or replaced by Getz Interiors as the relevant paperwork couldn’t be completed and supplied.
Please Note:
We cannot accept returns where the product box is damaged (including tears from opening), has been sealed using any tape other than clear or has been written on.
If our Returns Policy criteria has not been met once we receive your return, we will be unable to issue a refund your order. You will then need to pay a delivery charge to have your order re-sent back to you, or alternatively you can arrange for your own courier to collect your order from us. Please see our Full Returns Policy below.
We strongly recommend sending your order back to us using a tracked and insured delivery service for your own peace of mind.
If the above conditions are not met then we are unfortunately unable to accept your return.
If any lighting becomes faulty within the warranty period, it is our responsibility to provide replacement parts/product(s), but we are not obliged to contribute towards any electricians costs incurred. Please be aware all electrical items including lights must be fitted and signed off by an electrician with the correct certifications to ensure to electrical risks are introduced.
Once your return is received and inspected, if approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 28 days. We politely ask that you do not contact us before this time has passed. We do not refund any shipping or packaging fees you may have paid.
As we provide tracking information, it is the responsibility of the customer to rearrange the delivery to a convenient date/location/pick up shop if the intended delivery time slot is unsuitable. Failed delivery attempts may result in your order being returned back to us and the shipping cost is non -refundable .
If you are shipping an item with a value over £100, you should consider using a tracked shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Please ensure all goods are checked within 2 days of receiving your delivery and before original packaging is disposed of, as ALL returns must arrive back exactly as they arrived to you. This includes: product boxes, mouldings and outer brown boxes with protective packaging to ensure their safe return to us. A basic inspection of the goods should be made to check:
- You are happy with the goods you have purchased
- There are no obvious breakages
- There are no obvious physical faults or damages with the goods
- You have received the correct goods you have ordered
*We cannot refund or exchange any items that arrive back to us without the original packaging, or where the packaging has been damaged/defaced with writing/tape* We may be able to offer a re-boxing fee of £10 if an item is returned with damaged packaging/product box, but this is not always possible and we reserve the right to reject any items returned that are in breech of our returns policy stated here.
All items must be in an outer box and well packaged with additional packaging to reduce risk of damage on return. We cannot be held responsible for any damages upon return if goods are not adequately packaged. We will not be able to process your return request if the items being sent back to us are not adequately packaged. We require clear photographs of any items that arrive to you in a damaged condition, this includes a photograph of the damage and of the item as a whole. We reserve the right to request further photographs if the problem is not clear.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Once we have given you an authorisation number your item(s) must be returned back to us within 7 days to allow us to process your refund. Items received after this time will NOT be eligible for a refund.
- Electrician & contractor fee’s
Getz Interiors are not liable for any electrician or contractor fee's regarding the installation, replacement or repair of any of our products.
We Will of course supply a replacement light fitting / replacement parts when found to be faulted and approved by the supplier.

6.5 Cushions, Curtains & Runners, Our luxury cushions, curtains & runners are all specially made to order for you and are on a 4 week lead time. We ensure the highest level of quality goes into all of our made to order & bespoke cushions, and for this reason we don't like to rush the production. No returns, cancellations or exchanges are offered on all made to order & bespoke products once ordered.
- Special Order items
7.1) Special Order items/ bespoke & made to measure items are strictly non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once your order has been placed. Please call or email us to confirm if the items you are ordering are special order items, if you are not sure prior to placing the order.
7.2) For the avoidance of doubt any item listed with a delivery time in excess of 4 weeks shown on the product page are automatically classed as Special order items.
7.3) All lights, cushions, curtains and items with delivery times in excess of 4 weeks are promptly pushed to manufacture within 48 hours of receiving the order, to enable us to meet our obligations of delivery. Once the items are placed into manufacture we can no longer accept returns or cancellations.
- Force Majeure
8.1 Getz Interiors shall not incur any liability for failure to perform any obligation under any contract if such failure is the direct result of anything beyond the company’s control.
